IPPE Taps Six Perdue Farms Associates to Participate in ‘Linked In With Tomorrow’s Leaders’ Program

SALISBURY, Md. (Tuesday, February 9, 2021) — Six Perdue Farms associates were tapped to participate in the International Production & Processing Expo’s (IPPE) 2021 virtual “Linked In With Tomorrow’s Leaders” program recognizing leadership qualities of young professionals. Associates are participating in a LinkedIn™ group and online meetups with key industry leaders to further their leadership development. Associates also receive access to education to further training in their respective industry through automatic registration in all IPPE Marketplace Week complimentary education programs.
The goal of the IPPE “Linked In With Tomorrow’s Leaders” program is to engage and invest in the next generation of young professionals, between the ages of 21 and 30, who work for companies directly involved in the production and processing of poultry and meat or in the production of animal food.
Perdue associates selected to participate in the program include:
- Tanner East, grain merchandiser, Salisbury, Md.
- Matthew Martin, flock advisor, Forsyth, Ga.
- Amanda Smith, live operations management trainee, Ahoskie, N.C.
- Ian Swaim, area grain manager, Tappahannock, Va.
- Devin Thomas, harvest plant debone superintendent, Dillon, S.C.
- Mackenzie Woodall, cook plant manager, Perry, Ga.
