Salisbury, Md. (Wednesday, August 31, 2016) - Perdue associates in Lewiston, N.C., recently participated in a back-to-school supply drive to support the Bertie Alumni Community Association and the Bertie County Hive House’s efforts to provide much-needed school supplies to children in need. Associates donated school supplies and made financial donations, which were matched by Perdue totaling $1,923. Thirty-four backpacks were packed and distributed to local area students.

We appreciate Perdue’s support of our non-profit organization and our community.”
“Our associates did an excellent job in assisting the children of Bertie County by making donations to allow us to provide the necessary school supplies that the children will need for this school year,” said Jeff Stalls, director of operations. “This was an outstanding effort by all of our associates who participated.”
