SALISBURY, MD (June 27, 2025) - Perdue AgriBusiness' industry-leading research in animal nutrition was recently recognized with a prestigious award in the dairy space. Dr. Jonas de Souza, Director of Technical Services and R&D for Perdue Animal Nutrition, was named a 2025 Recipient
of the Lallemand Award for Scientific Excellence in Dairy Nutrition at the American Dairy Science Association’s (ADSA) Annual Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. de Souza joined Perdue AgriBusiness in 2018, after earning his Ph.D. in Dairy Nutrition from Michigan State University. They have
shaped my career and really helped me to grow into the role that I hold today.” de Souza’s win marks a first for the program, which has historically recognized academics in the category.
