Perdue Farms Shares Fiscal Year 2026 Company Stewardship Report
Salisbury, Md. (July 30, 2026) — Perdue Farms today released its Fiscal Year 2026 Company Stewardship Report, highlighting how the company's longstanding principles continue to guide its approach to innovation, responsible agriculture, associate well-being and community impact.
Centered on Perdue’s core values of quality, integrity, teamwork, and stewardship, the report highlights progress across product innovation, animal care, agricultural sustainability, associate well-being, and community impact during the past fiscal year. Highlights include elevating the Perdue brand and its product offerings to meet current consumer preferences, as well as promoting sustainable farming concepts such as regenerative agriculture and on-farm solar energy.
“For four generations, our family has believed that how we conduct our business matters just as much as what we produce,” said Jim Perdue, Chairman of Perdue Farms. “Quality, integrity, teamwork and stewardship have shaped our company for generations and continue to define the way we serve our associates, farm partners, customers and communities. It’s gratifying to see those principles reflected in the work our teams are doing every day.”
Those enduring principles are reflected throughout the report—from product innovation and agricultural stewardship to associate well-being and community investment.
“One of Perdue’s greatest strengths is our ability to evolve while staying true to who we are,” said Kevin McAdams, Chief Executive Officer of Perdue Farms. “Whether we’re introducing products that meet changing consumer preferences, advancing more sustainable farming practices or investing in our associates, we’re focused on building for the future while remaining grounded in the principles that have always guided our company.”
In FY26, Perdue Foods advanced brand and product innovation with refreshed branding and more sustainable packaging. The company introduced a refreshed "wingtag" logo, rolled out updated packaging across its portfolio with clearer product information and improved shelf visibility, launched recyclable trays across its fresh chicken portfolio and debuted its first-ever sonic logo to create a more connected consumer experience across stores, screens and emerging digital platforms.
Perdue also continued its commitment to environmental stewardship by supporting partner poultry and hog farmers, beef ranchers, and grain farmers as they adopt regenerative farming practices. Perdue provides acre payments and technical agronomy assistance for grain farmers who adopt sustainable practices. And with the introduction of Perdue’s new Earth Smart farming app, growers can document practices related to soil health, biodiversity, nutrient management, and water conservation. Developed in partnership with farmers, the user-friendly platform simplifies the collection and sharing of field-level data for sustainability and carbon tracking.
Additional FY26 highlights include:
- Perdue Farms was ranked among TIME’s List of the World’s Best Companies and Newsweek’s Most Trusted Brands for 2025.
- Perdue Farms marked a decade of animal care leadership with its 10th Annual Animal Care Summit, focused on public health, scientific validation, and organic growth.
- Perdue Specialty Meats and Emerging Brands (formerly Perdue Premium Meat Company) opened a new, $60 million state-of-the-art facility specializing in case-ready pork production in Sioux City, Iowa, marking 30 years of Niman Ranch in the pork business.
- Perdue AgriBusiness celebrated 25 years of innovation, partnership and growth at its Chesapeake, Va. facility, a site that has become a cornerstone of the company’s grain, oilseed, and logistics network. In addition, FY26 saw the launch of a Non‑GMO High Oleic Canola program.
- The company introduced WellPower, Perdue’s next generation health and wellness program for associates.
- Perdue’s ongoing support for its associates and the communities where they live and work was reflected in the company’s donation of more than 7 million pounds of protein to support hunger relief, as well as the Perdue Foundation’s awards of more than $1.6 million to 80 charitable organizations.
The report reflects Perdue's continued commitment to building a stronger future for its associates, farm partners, customers, consumers and the communities it serves. The full FY26 Company Stewardship Report is available here.
