Our Values Shape Our Past, Present, and Future

More than a century ago, on the Perdue family farm in Salisbury, Maryland, a simple belief took hold: do what’s right, even when it’s not the easiest path.

From that belief came the values that still define us today — Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, and Stewardship. These values have guided every generation of Perdue associates. They shape how we raise food, care for animals, support our people and farmers, and serve our communities. They’re not slogans; they’re the standards we live by and the lens through which we make decisions.

And they’re the reason our vision matters. Our aspiration to be the most trusted name in food and agricultural products is rooted in this legacy of responsibility. We continue to earn trust the same way we always have — through our actions, every day.

We work together to accomplish something greater than one person could alone. We value and protect the safety of others. We make each other successful.
