Salisbury, Md. (Tuesday, July 26, 2016) – Mayor Jake Day is pleased to announce the latest exciting development in Downtown revitalization with Perdue Farms moving its corporate training center to the Main Place building at 214 W. Main St. The new 5,000-square-foot space, designed by Fisher Architecture, will provide a multitude of flexible training and community meeting spaces that can function independently or together. The Center will be equipped with integrated smart boards and the latest in audio-visual resources. A large training room will provide seating for up to 100 people. Two additional classroom-style spaces will each hold 30 to 40 people, and additional space will be utilized for small group meetings as well as contain offices for staff members. The design plan also includes a small kitchen and storage space.

I am excited to announce Perdue’s plan to relocate its corporate training center to this facility, which is expected to bring Perdue associates from across the country and business into the local economy.”

Once started, renovation of the building is expected to be completed in approximately 90 days.
