Diversity and Inclusion is our Top Priority

A message from our
Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer

At Perdue Farms, our commitment to these diversity and inclusion is not just a responsibility, it's at the core of who we are as a company. We understand that by embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment, we can drive innovation and create a more welcoming and vibrant workplace.

A diverse workforce is our strength. Our associates come from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, and it’s this diversity that fuels our success. At Perdue, we celebrate the unique perspectives that each member of our team brings to our company, knowing that it is these differences that make us stronger, more adaptable, and better equipped to serve our associates, customers, and communities in which we live and work.

An integral part of our Company’s success is our belief that through working together we can accomplish something far greater than one can do alone. We are, therefore, dedicated to building an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and succeed.

Our commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our business includes promoting equal opportunities, eliminating biases, and continuously learning and growing as an organization. These obligations extend to our suppliers, customers, and the communities we serve.

At Perdue, our diversity and inclusion journey is ongoing. We welcome open conversations, feedback, and collaboration from all members of the Perdue Farms family.

By cultivating a diverse workforce, we are not just advancing our own culture but actively shaping a more inclusive and equitable community.

Welcome to our Community!

Our Valued Associates

We aspire to be an inclusive company that values the contributions of associates with diverse perspectives, recognizing that they strengthen both our organization and the communities we serve.

To help support a diverse, inclusive, and engaged workforce and workplace, we have voluntary associate-led groups that are specifically designed to support our efforts in building an environment that embraces diversity and inclusivity. Our associates, who form the backbone of our 103-year-old company, are instrumental in our success.

Diversity & Inclusion Councils

We have established company-wide diversity and inclusion councils: the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Leadership Council, Perdue Farms D&I Council and Operations D&I Councils to bolster diversity and inclusion efforts that reflect the company’s aspiration to create an inclusive and equitable workplace.

By establishing these councils, Perdue Farms is taking proactive steps to ensure that every employee’s voice is heard, and that their unique experiences and backgrounds are celebrated and leveraged to drive innovation and growth. Through these initiatives, Perdue Farms is not only championing diversity and inclusion within their own ranks but also setting an inspiring example for the industry as a whole.
